PC (Polycarbonate) Filament
PC (Polycarbonate) is an extremely tough and durable material for 3D printing, with good
temperature and impact resistance. It is highly recommended for high-strength 3D printing
applications. It's also a naturally transparent thermoplastic. Bambu PC Basic is designed for
less shrinkage and better dimensional stability. It's a professional-level 3D printing material.
Bambu Lab has tested the differing aspects of the performance of PC material, including
physical, mechanical, and chemical properties
HIPS Filament
HIPS (High-impact polystyrene) is a dissolvable filament that is frequently used as support material. It acts as a great support material because it is easily removed with Limonene solution, leaving the clean high-quality print that you want behind. HIPS requires no scraping, cutting, or any other method of removal that may cause damage to your prints.
Carbon Fiber Filament
PLA-CF or PLA Carbon Fiber is a custom-blended tough PLA with carbon fibers added to improve the
hardness and bending modulus while still retaining the easy printing and dimensional
stability of normal PLA. The resulting prints have a matte finish with almost invisible layer
lines, making them ideal for prototypes of components that have to have a premium nonglossy look.
PETG-CF or PETG Carbon Fiber is a composite material consisting of PETG and carbon fiber. The new formula greatly improved printing quality by reducing clumping compared to traditional PETG. With the addition of carbon fiber, Bambu PETG-CF offers improved strength while maintaining good toughness and a shiny look. It is an ideal material for drone parts, racing models, and various functional parts that require both high performance, especially impact strength, and a sleek appearance.
PETG-CF is improved with a modified formula that specifically addresses the issue of clumping and sticking to the nozzle during PETG printing.
PAHT-CF is a composite of PA12 and carbon fiber. Inheriting the advantages of low water absorption from PA12 and high-performance carbon fiber, Bambu PAHT-CF offers excellent mechanical and thermal properties that can be maintained well even when the prints get wet. Higher Z adhesion layers and flexibility make it ideal for creating engineering parts such as functional prototypes, machining fixtures, injection molds, jigs, and low-volume production parts.
PA6-CF is a carbon fiber-reinforced PA6 (Nylon 6) filament. The carbon fiber reinforcement provides significantly high stiffness and strength properties in dry environments and maintains exceptional heat resistance and impact resistance. Similar to other Bambu CF Filaments, these outstanding mechanical properties make it an ideal choice for printing fixtures, clamps, automotive and mechanical components, and various structural and engineering parts that are used in dry environments.
Support Material PVA Filament
PVA is a water-dissolvable support material. It provides reliable support for complex designs and overhangs, which can be easily dissolved in water after printing. Compatible with various filaments, it simplifies post-processing and reduces the risk of damaging the printed object during support removal.
